Abstract

Handwritten letter from W. H. Van Every to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, regarding the case of Mr. [H.] Peterson. Van Every asserts that Peterson is a good, honest, and hard working individual and states that Peterson's supporters will be writing letters to Captain [Ambrose] Snow on his behalf and mentions Van Every's family's work on vessels commanded by Trask himself.
