Abstract
Handwritten letter from Nathaniel Goodwin, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, complaining that he is unable to control the girl who "looks after the water closet" and that he will use the public closets instead. On the back of the letter he denies "the charges you lay to my neglect."
