Abstract

Handwritten letter from Edwin Tucker, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, explaining that while he was away on a leave granted by Dr. [Henry DeWitt] Joy at the behest of a Captain Kendall, his son-in-law, several items of clothing had been stolen from the drawers in his bedroom.
