Identifier
SC-0016-I-D-1-B-199Abstract
Handwritten letter from J. [John] B. Tullock, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, explaining that he is in trouble, due to Trask's "servants, Sam [Cufflin?] and [Hiram M.] Chaffee," whom Tullock believes are encouraged by his "old enemy" to prevent him from taking walks indoors. He accuses Cufflin of being implicated in the death of "Randall", who was found in the cellar and states that Chaffee is a liar, even more so than "Mac," who was known at the Harbor for lying. Tullock claims that "Bartlet" [George W. Bartlett] can confirm his story and asks Trask for justice.Type Of Resource
