Handwritten letter from Nathaniel Goodwin, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, asking if he can stay at the Harbor a little longer and asking Trask to take into consideration his long service, requesting that Trask permit him to take all of his clothing with him when he leaves. He also states that he believes he has information that could be useful to Trask in "the coming examination" and he would be happy to offer his testimony as a witness. Type Of Resource
