Handwritten letter [presumably to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor] warning him that there is a plot among the Harbor's inmates to kill him. The writer states that although the recipient has treated the writer badly, he does not wish to see bloodshed.
