Abstract
Handwritten letter from Fred C. Bryan, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, expressing his dismay at his dismissal from his Reading Room duties, as he feels that his performance was exemplary and that he has always praised the Harbor. He asks that Trask reconsider and reappoint him to his former position. He also states that he has instructed Captain [James] McNair to the best of his ability.
