Handwritten letter from L. Amundsen, Secretary, Danish Consulate, to Sailors' Snug Harbor, regarding a former inmate of the Harbor, Captain Charles Sames. Relatives of Captain Sames, who Amundsen believes is deceased, wish to correspond with the captain's widow, Mrs. E. O. Sames. Amundsen asks if anyone at the Harbor has her contact information. Received while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
