Abstract

Handwritten letter from John J. Blackstock, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, stating that he has learned Captain Webb has made charges against Blackstock for drunkenness. Blackstock denies the charges and offers to bring respectable witnesses on his behalf, but offers his resignation if Trask desires it.
