Abstract
Two handwritten notes, adhered together in the upper left corner, reporting on the conduct of John H. Lunt, inmate at Sailors' Snug Harbor. The first is dated September 19, signed by John T. Webb, and states that Lunt came in intoxicated at 11:20. The second is dated September 20, signed by G. W. [George W.] Ward, and describes an incident where Ward told Lunt he could not leave, as he was on report, and Lunt swore at him and at Webb, who was also present, and left anyway. Written while Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask was the governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor. [Cataloger's note: Pin marks in the upper left corner of the paper match those on SC-0016-I-D-1-B-333 and suggest the two items may have been pinned together.]
