Abstract
Handwritten letter from Robt. Thos. [Robert Thomas] Sadler, to Captain Thomas Melville, regarding the recent discipline for his drinking. Sadler acknowledges that he drinks too much, but asks for his sentence to be mitigated somewhat. Sadler also states he can gain employment outside the institution if he needs, but humbly asks Melville to reconsider his case.
