Abstract
Handwritten letter from Moses Hillman, to Captain Thomas Melville, regarding the wellbeing of his brother, John Hillman [Hylliard?]. Hillman would like to know whether his brother is alive or dead, and what his health is like, since he has not heard from him since last summer.

[Cataloguer's Note: There is a notation on the letter with the name "John Hylliard", who was an inmate at the Harbor. Presumably the same person as mentioned in the letter.]
