Abstract
Handwritten letter from S. T. Armstrong, Visiting Physician, Harlem Hospital, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, requesting a leave of absence for James Fletcher for three weeks. Armstrong states that Fletcher has had a tumor on his vocal cords and there is a new growth, and he needs the time to treat him. Armstrong also states that Fletcher is being treated at the U.S. Marine Hospital in Cleveland.
