Abstract
Handwritten copy of a letter from Fred Abel, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, regarding his resignation from the Harbor. Abel states he was unaware of the changes in the rules of the institution and, since he must support his family, decides he can not be part of the Harbor any longer. Abel also wishes to be ale to return should his health fail him.
