Abstract

Handwritten letter from Mrs. E. Norcott [sp?], to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, regarding a man she believes to be an inmate at the harbor named [Michael] McCafferty. She states that a Captain Lane has asked her to help find McCafferty, as he had relations that died in San Fransisco and left something for him. There is a notation on the back that states McCafferty was made aware of the letter.
