Abstract
Handwritten letter from Charles Orr, M.D., of the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, to Captain Thomas Melville, stating that the permit for Henry Shone will expire on March 22 but that he will need additional treatment. Orr requests that the permit be extended by two weeks. Later notations on the letter indicate that it was referred to the Executive Committee and Ambrose Snow.
