Handwritten letter from Bettie Rousseau, of Louisville, Kentucky, to the Superintendent of Sailors' Snug Harbor, regarding the whereabouts of Richard H. Rousseau. She explains that she received a letter from Rousseau, sent from Sailors' Snug Harbor, dated July 13 but has not heard from him since, and requests information about him if known. Received while Captain Thomas Melville was Governor of Sailors' Snug Harbor.
