Abstract
Handwritten letter from John L. Stull, inmate working at the west gate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, describing an incident where a potato truck driver threatened Stull when he insisted that the driver remove the potatoes before Stull weighed them, at Trask's own order.
