Abstract
Handwritten letter from William G. Nimmo, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor residing at the  New Jersey State Asylum for the Insane, Morris Plains, N.J., to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, explaining that his health has recovered significantly and asking if, should the medical director of the asylum pronounce him well, Nimmo can return to the Harbor.
