Abstract

Handwritten letter from John P. Wilkinson, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, asking permission to take his winter coat and pants, as he has found "light employment" but his summer clothing is too light for morning and evening. He asks that Trask respond to either Mr. Clark or Mr. Goodwin.
