Abstract
Handwritten letter from John H. Lunt, inmate of Sailors' Snug Harbor, to Captain Gustavus D. S. Trask, explaining that he intends to stop drinking and asks Trask to not expel him but states that if he does, he will report back in six months having been sober all that time. Written from Hampton [Va.?]. [Cataloger's note: Pin marks in the paper match those on SC-0016-I-D-1-B-332 and suggest the two items may have been pinned together.]
